At the end of this section you will find an order form, this may be printed off, filled in manually, & posted or faxed to us. We will also accept orders over the telephone for credit card payments. Alternatively if you wish to copy & paste parts of the listings & email your order to us. Please note our email address is not a secure one so you may wish to either split your credit card details into two or more emails or simply telephone the details through.

All payments by cheque or postal order must be made payable to H.A.Whitehead only please. Cheques must have your name, address plus your bankcard number on the back. We reserve the right to return incorrectly filled cheques or postal orders. Please do not make cheques & postal orders payable to Kit Form Services as this account is held for commission model work rather than after market parts. We will accept payment in postage stamps also in the case of small orders.

We accept most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Eurocard, JCB, Electron, Maestro & Switch cards.

Remember to include your c/card `expiry date` in all case. The Switch `issue number` for Switch cards & the `valid from` date for Bank of Scotland cards. Please note that due to hefty bank charges we apply a 5% surcharge to the total (including postage) price of all credit card orders, this does not apply however to Maestro, Switch & Visa Delta.

Bank to Bank Transfers

This method of payment is also accepted & we can provide transfer details on request. However, please note that ALL bank charges MUST be paid by the payee (the customer). Please ensure your bank understands that YOU pay ALL bank charges for the transfer & the amount to arrive on OUR account is the FULL amount of the order including shipping.

NEW INFORMATION

Please note, if you are ordering using a credit or debit card then we MUST have the full address of the CARD HOLDER as well as any delivery address if different to the card holders address. The address MUST include the house number & the full & correct post code. We MUST have the last 3 digits of the security code from the security strip on the back of the card. Without these your order cannot be processed.

PLEASE NOTE, all payments MUST be in UK pounds, we DO NOT accept US Dollars cheques or currency. We DO NOT accept IMO's or postal orders or bankers drafts or personal cheques in any other currency than UK pounds (GBP)

Imported parts

Some imported parts & conversion kits may seem expensive, & slow to arrive, please remember that much of our imported range is hand made by part time `cottage industry` type suppliers, it then flies half way around the world & then gets hit by H.M.Customs import duty & V.A.T. On top of this the banks make a hefty charge when it comes to paying for foreign stock orders.

Paper Catalogue or CD-ROM

Our printed catalogue or full colour CD-ROM catalogue costs £4.50 + A4 SSAE with £1.00 return post for inside UK.

For EC countries the catalogue or CD ROM cost including airmail is £6.50.

For non EC countries the catalogue or CD ROM cost including airmail is £7.80

Export outside of the EEC

For all goods being exported outside of the European Union (EEC) group of countries we 'can' deduct the UK VAT tax which is currently 17.5%* Typically, the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan Taiwan, Norway, Switzerland....anywhere not part of the EU in fact.

*The prices given on the website are UK Pounds Sterling & include the 17.5% UK VAT. We have to provide UK Customs & Excise with evidence of export & therefore will raise a printed invoice to that effect. All we ask in return for providing ex-vat discount is that you make it worth our while switching the computer on & typing up an invoice. Therefore, your minimum order to qualify for ex-vat discount should be at least £20.00 including vat.

Example 1;- Your parts order comes to say £20.00 GBP. Take a calculator & punch in 20.00, then press 'divide' followed by 1.175= you should now have a figure of 17.02, so £17.02 is the ex-vat price for export outside the EU.

Example 2;- Your parts order comes to say £120.00 GBP. Take a calculator & punch in 120.00, then press 'divide' followed by 1.175= you should now have a figure of 102.12, so £102.12 is the ex-vat price for export outside the EU.

Postal rates

We try to keep the postage rates to a minimum & will often return a credit note for `spare postage`. This can then be used at any time with any future order. Postage on lightweight orders paid for by credit card is often charged out at less than the guide rates given below. This is because we get the chance to weigh the package before you pay.

NOTE We reserve the right right to charge shipping on overseas orders at actual cost price should the shipping be more than the guide rate examples shown below.

Delivery

We aim to process your order on the same day it arrives & within two days at most if at all possible. Where parts are out of stock for a matter of a few days we will hold your order until it can be dispatched complete. Where parts are out of stock for a longer term (i.e. whilst waiting for stock order to arrive from overseas) we will send the parts that are in stock with a note informing you of the current back order situation, those parts will then follow immediately they arrive back in stock. Orders are sent by first class Royal Mail where rates & weights allow. Overseas orders are sent by airmail only. Please be as patient as you can.....KFS is a one man operated outfit!
